Dear sir,

You have told that there is no room for telling "assalamu malaikum" to people who r non Muslims. You have given the reasons for not saying but peacefulness is common for mankind. There are lots of people from other religion who loves to be in a peaceful world. moreover, we cannot assume every person in Muslim religion is good. there are lots of exceptional people who r bad doers .how can we accept your reasons for not saying asslamu malaikum to other religion people in this case.. I am living in saudi arabia. though i am a Hindu, i accept Muslim religion's statements. a few friends of mine r Muslims. i heard a lot about the religion too. Here it has become common for a person who is not a Muslim to greet other person "asslam malaikum". Then how could we say wrong. Pls reply.

Do you have any proof of your statement in the light of Sunnah,that we should not say Salam to Non muslims.?
Because I feel that you being one of our responsible religious leader of the time it is your duty to clarify it with proofs.

Also as u said Our Prophet replied "ALAIKUM" To Jews Because they have a Bad intention and they said "assamu alaikum"

But what is wrong in replying or reciprocating a non muslim who is wishing u assalamu alaikum with Good INTENTION.

That is he is wishing you Good Things.
Please Forgive me if i said any thing wrong for allah's Sake.
Also i want to Remember that Mohammed(Peace be upon him) is send as a Prophet not only for Muslims but for the Whole Mankind.

Quran is revealed from allah through Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). In that Quran Allah told that Ibrahim ((PBUH) told salam to his father who is well known that Kafir. If a muslim cannot tell salam to a non muslim why allah say that Ibrahim says salam to his father who makes statues for worship in addition to allah. Once allah told anything in Quran we can follow that and which he made dont's we can not do those.
